If you're rebuilding the heart of a Chevy Small Block 400 for serious performance, like drag racing or circle track, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the job. They're designed to handle the demands of high-RPM operation and power adders, offering a solid foundation for your engine build.

Wiseco crafts these pistons from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its tensile strength, which is crucial for performance racing applications. Each piston features a dedicated forging with a strutted design, carefully machined to maximize strength while keeping weight down. To further reduce friction and noise, and to help extend service life, the skirts are coated with ArmorGlide. The pin bores have horizontal slot oiling to ensure the wrist pin and small-end of the connecting rod stay well-lubricated under stress. An accumulator groove is also included to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output.

This set comes complete with premium rings, so you won't need to source those separately. Remember, these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. Always refer to the manufacturer's installation instructions for proper fitment and assembly procedures.
