Wiseco RED Series Chevy Small Block 400 4.185in Bore 1.250in CH -15.00 CC Piston Set

This is a set of eight Wiseco RED Series pistons designed for Chevrolet Small Block 400 engines with a 4.185 inch bore. The RED series, which stands for Race Engineered Design, uses dedicated forgings from 2618 aluminum to create pistons that are both strong and lightweight, making them suitable for demanding performance applications like drag racing and circle track racing. Each piston features a 1.250 inch compression height and a -15.00cc dish volume.

These pistons are built for strength and durability. The 2618 aluminum construction provides the tensile strength needed for high-performance engines and power adder setups. To ensure optimal lubrication and extend service life, the pin bores include horizontal slot oiling, which helps maintain consistent wrist pin and small-end lubrication. An accumulator groove is also incorporated to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output. The pistons come with premium rings, so you won't need to source those separately.

Further reducing friction and noise, and also minimizing wear on the skirts and cylinder walls, is the ArmorGlide skirt coating. This coating is applied to help the engine run smoother and last longer under stress. These pistons are engineered and machined in the USA.
