This particular set is designed for Ford Small Block engines with a 4.005-inch bore.

Crafted from 2618 aluminum in the USA, these pistons are forged for tensile strength, making them suitable for demanding racing applications and engines with power adders. They feature horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores to ensure the wrist pin and small-end of the connecting rod stay well-lubricated, which is crucial for a long service life. The dedicated forgings allow for an optimized, engine-specific strutted design that maximizes strength while keeping weight down. Additionally, the ArmorGlide skirt coating helps reduce friction and noise, while also minimizing wear on the piston skirt and cylinder wall. Each set comes complete with premium rings, so you won't need to source those separately. An accumulator groove is also included to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output.
