Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of performance racing and power adder applications. The RED series, standing for Race Engineered Design, focuses on providing the strength and durability needed for engines pushing serious power, while incorporating precision-machined features that give you a competitive edge. They are specifically designed for popular domestic V8 platforms, making them a cornerstone for racing from drag strips to circle tracks.

You'll find horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores, which is a smart detail that keeps your wrist pins and small-end connecting rod bearings properly lubricated, contributing to a longer service life. Wiseco uses dedicated forgings for each engine application, allowing them to create an optimized, strutted design that maximizes strength while keeping weight down. To further reduce friction and noise, and to minimize wear on both the piston skirts and cylinder walls, these pistons come with an ArmorGlide skirt coating. Plus, each set includes premium rings, so you won't have to source those separately, and an accumulator groove is included to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output.
