Wiseco RED Series Ford Small Block 4.005in Bore 1.280in CH -5.00 CC Piston Set

This is a set of eight Wiseco RED Series pistons designed for Ford Small Block engines. You get the pistons themselves, which are forged from 2618 aluminum for the tensile strength needed in performance racing and power adder applications. Each set also includes premium rings, so you won't need to source those separately.

Wiseco's Race Engineered Design (RED) process means these pistons are built with precision-machined features to give you a competitive edge. They feature horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores to keep the wrist pin and small-end of the connecting rod well-lubricated, which is important for a long service life. The dedicated forgings allow for an engine-specific strutted design that maximizes strength while keeping weight down. You'll also find an accumulator groove that helps maintain consistent ring seal and power delivery. To further reduce friction and noise, and to cut down on skirt and cylinder wear, these pistons come with an ArmorGlide skirt coating.

These pistons are intended for performance applications, from drag racing to circle track. Please note that these are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. Refer to manufacturer installation instructions for specific details regarding assembly and tuning.
