This is a set of eight Wiseco RED Series pistons, designed for Ford Small Block engines with a 4.020-inch bore. These pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is essential for performance racing and applications using power adders. The RED series stands for Race Engineered Design, meaning these pistons are built with precision-machined features to give you a competitive edge on the track, whether you're drag racing or competing on a circle track.

You'll find horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores, a detail that ensures optimal lubrication for the wrist pin and the small end of the connecting rod, which is critical for a long service life. Wiseco uses dedicated forgings for each engine application, allowing for an optimized, strutted design that maximizes strength while keeping weight down. To further reduce friction and noise, and to minimize wear on the piston skirt and cylinder wall, these pistons come with an ArmorGlide skirt coating. Each set includes premium rings, so you won't need to source those separately. An accumulator groove is also incorporated to help maintain consistent ring seal and power delivery.
