This is a set of eight Wiseco RED Series pistons, designed for Ford Small Block engines with a 4.020-inch bore. These pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for demanding performance racing and applications where you're adding significant power. The RED series, which stands for Race Engineered Design, aims to give you the strength you need along with precision features that can make a difference on the track or at the drag strip.

Each piston features horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores to ensure the wrist pin and the small end of the connecting rod stay properly lubricated, which is crucial for a long service life under stress. Wiseco uses dedicated forgings for each specific engine application, allowing them to optimize the strutted design for the best possible strength-to-weight ratio. To further reduce friction and noise, and to minimize wear on the piston skirt and cylinder wall, these pistons come with an ArmorGlide skirt coating. You also get premium rings included with each set, so you won't need to source those separately. An accumulator groove is incorporated to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output.
