Wiseco RED Series Ford Small Block 4.020in Bore 1.165in CH -15.00 CC Piston Set

This is a set of eight Wiseco RED Series forged pistons, designed for Ford Small Block engines with a 4.020-inch bore. These pistons feature a 1.165-inch compression height and a -15.00cc dish volume. The RED Series, which stands for Race Engineered Design, is built using 2618 aluminum for the high tensile strength needed in demanding performance racing and power adder applications. Each set comes complete with premium rings, so you won't need to source them separately.

Wiseco machines these pistons in the USA, utilizing dedicated forgings that allow for an optimized, engine-specific strutted design. This approach maximizes the strength-to-weight ratio, which is crucial for competitive engines. To further enhance performance and longevity, they include horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores to ensure consistent wrist pin and small-end lubrication. An accumulator groove is also incorporated to help maintain steady ring seal and consistent power delivery under stress. Additionally, the ArmorGlide skirt coating is applied to reduce operating friction and noise, while also minimizing wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls.

Because these pistons are not CARB approved, they cannot be shipped to California. Please refer to the manufacturer's installation instructions for proper fitment and assembly procedures.
