Wiseco RED Series Ford Small Block 4.020in Bore 1.280in CH -22.00 CC Piston Set

This set includes eight forged pistons designed for Ford Small Block engines, featuring a 4.020-inch bore and a 1.280-inch compression height with a -22.00cc dish. Wiseco's RED (Race Engineered Design) series pistons are built for the demands of performance racing and power adder applications, utilizing 2618 aluminum for the tensile strength needed in these high-stress environments. Each piston is forged and machined in the USA to ensure precision and durability.

These pistons incorporate several advanced features to enhance performance and longevity. Horizontal slot oiling in the wrist pin bores helps maintain optimal lubrication for the wrist pin and small end of the connecting rod, which is crucial for extended service life. The dedicated forgings allow for an engine-specific strutted design, maximizing the strength-to-weight ratio. Additionally, the ArmorGlide skirt coating is applied to reduce operating friction and noise, while also minimizing wear on the piston skirt and cylinder walls. An accumulator groove is also included to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output.
