These pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum right here in the USA, giving them the tensile strength required for performance racing and applications with power adders. Horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores keeps the wrist pin and small-end of the connecting rod properly lubricated, which is crucial for a long service life. Each set also comes with premium rings, so you won't need to source those separately. This set is for an 8-cylinder engine and is designed for a 4.020-inch bore with a 1.280-inch compression height and a -5.00cc piston dish. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. They also carry a Prop 65 warning.
