This RED Series piston set is built for Ford Small Block engines and uses their Race Engineered Design (RED) philosophy to give you the strength and durability needed for demanding builds. These pistons are forged and machined right here in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making it ideal for racing and engines with power adders.

You'll find features like horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores, which helps keep the wrist pin and small-end of the connecting rod properly lubricated for a longer service life. The dedicated forgings mean each piston is designed with an engine-specific strutted layout to get the best strength-to-weight ratio possible. Plus, the ArmorGlide skirt coating is applied to cut down on friction and noise, while also reducing wear on the piston skirt and cylinder wall. This set comes complete with premium rings, so you won't need to source those separately. An accumulator groove is also included to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output.

Keep in mind that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. They are also subject to California's Prop 65 warning.
