Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of performance racing and power adder applications. The Race Engineered Design (RED) process means they're not just strong, but also precisely machined to give you an edge. This set is specifically for Ford Small Block engines with a 4.030-inch bore, a 1.165-inch compression height, and a -5.00cc dish volume, meaning they're designed to work with specific cylinder head volumes for optimal compression ratios.

Wiseco includes several features to ensure longevity and consistent performance. Horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores keeps the wrist pin and small-end of the connecting rod properly lubricated, which is crucial for preventing wear under high stress. The dedicated forgings allow for an engine-specific strutted design, maximizing strength while keeping weight down. Plus, the ArmorGlide skirt coating helps reduce friction and noise, while also minimizing wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls. An accumulator groove is also incorporated to help maintain consistent ring seal and power delivery.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 0.927-inch pin diameter, and comes complete with premium rings, so you won't need to source those separately. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
