Starting with a -7cc dish volume, these Wiseco pistons are designed to achieve a 10.25:1 compression ratio in your LS1 Vortec 5.3L engine. They are forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its improved tensile strength, making these pistons well-suited for heavy to severe duty race builds where durability is key.
Wiseco's Professional Series pistons come packed with features for serious builders. You'll find precision ring grooves, anti-detonation grooves, and other features aimed at improving ring seal. The crown is fully machined, and they include forced pin oiling to keep things lubricated. Additionally, the ArmorGlide skirt coating helps reduce friction and noise, while also resisting seizure.
This set includes pistons designed for a 3.800 inch bore and a 1.1105 inch compression height, with a 0.927 inch pin diameter. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
