The crown is fully machined, and it includes precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and features for additional ring seal, all designed to handle heavy to severe duty performance builds.

The piston also comes with an ArmorGlide skirt coating that helps reduce friction and noise, while also resisting seizure. For improved durability and performance, it incorporates forced pin oiling.
