Wiseco SC Gasket - Ford 2.0 OHC Gasket

Wiseco is well-known for making strong internal engine components, and their Sport Compact (SC) MLS head gaskets are built to handle the demands of performance engines. This particular gasket is made for the 1971-1974 Ford Pinto with the 2.0 OHC engine. It's designed to keep a solid seal between the aluminum cylinder head and the iron engine block, even when you're pushing the engine hard, especially with added power adders like turbochargers or superchargers.

This gasket uses a multi-layer steel (MLS) construction, which is great for resisting the high sheer forces that happen between dissimilar metals like aluminum and iron under stress. Inside, there are special embossments that actually expand with heat. This means the seal gets even tighter as the engine heats up and combustion pressures rise, helping to prevent leaks and keep your engine running smoothly. It measures 92.5 mm in bore diameter and is 0.040 inches thick, with three layers of steel for durability.
