If you're building a performance EJ22 engine for your 1991-1994 Subaru Legacy, these forged pistons from Wiseco are a solid option. They're designed for heavy to severe duty race applications, meaning they're built to handle a lot of stress and power. Wiseco makes these pistons in the USA from 2618 aluminum, which gives them improved tensile strength compared to cast aluminum.

You'll find precision ring grooves, anti-detonation grooves, and other features to help improve ring seal and performance. The piston crown is fully machined, and they also feature forced pin oiling to keep things well-lubricated. Plus, the ArmorGlide skirt coating helps reduce friction and noise, while also making them more resistant to seizing.
