Wiseco is well-known for making strong internal engine components for performance applications. This piston set is built for Subaru Legacy models from 1991 to 1994, specifically for the EJ22 engine. Forged from 2618 aluminum right here in the USA, these pistons are built for improved tensile strength. They feature precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other features to help seal the rings better. Plus, they have an ArmorGlide skirt coating that helps reduce friction, resist seizure, and operate more quietly, which is a nice touch for a high-performance part.

This kit includes four pistons, each with a 98mm bore and a -20cc inverted dome. Remember, these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. If you're rebuilding the top end of your EJ22 for serious performance, this set is a solid option.
