They are forged from 2618 aluminum right here in the USA, a material chosen for its improved tensile strength, which is crucial when you're pushing an engine hard. The pistons feature precision-machined ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other features aimed at improving ring seal, helping to keep combustion pressure where it belongs.

Wiseco also applies an ArmorGlide skirt coating to these pistons. This coating helps reduce friction and resist seizure, while also contributing to quieter operation.
