If you're building a high-performance Subaru EJ257 engine for serious racing or severe duty applications, this Wiseco piston set is a solid choice. These are the Professional Series forged pistons, meaning Wiseco put a lot into making them strong and durable for demanding builds. They're designed to handle the kind of stress you'd find in heavy competition.

Wiseco makes these pistons right here in the USA from 2618 aluminum, which gives them improved tensile strength over standard aluminum. You'll find precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other features to help seal the rings better. They also come with an ArmorGlide skirt coating. This coating helps reduce friction, resist seizure, and makes the engine run quieter. The fully machined crown is ready for your build, and they even have forced pin oiling to keep the wrist pins lubricated under high load.
