When you're building a high-performance Toyota 2JZ-GTE engine for serious racing, the pistons are a critical component. This Wiseco Professional Series piston kit is designed to handle the extreme demands of heavy to severe duty race applications. Each piston is forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its improved tensile strength under high stress and temperature conditions.

These pistons feature a -14.8cc dish volume and a bore size of 86.25mm, with a compression height of 34.00mm and a 0.866-inch pin diameter. Wiseco has incorporated precision ring grooves, anti-detonation grooves, and other features to improve ring seal, which is crucial for maintaining compression and preventing blow-by in a boosted engine. The fully machined crown ensures accuracy, and the forced pin oiling system helps keep the wrist pins lubricated. Additionally, the ArmorGlide skirt coating reduces friction, resists seizure, and contributes to quieter operation, all while being designed to withstand the rigors of competition.
