Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco pistons are built for serious performance in your 1990-1992 Volkswagen Golf or Jetta. The -11cc dish volume is specifically designed for turbo applications, helping to achieve a desired compression ratio when boosting your 2.0L 16V engine. Each piston is machined in the USA to tight tolerances, ensuring a precise fit and reliable operation under demanding conditions.

Wiseco has included several features to enhance durability and performance. The ArmorGlide skirt coating helps reduce friction and resist seizure, while also contributing to quieter operation. Precision ring grooves and anti-detonation grooves are incorporated to improve ring seal, which is critical for maintaining compression and preventing detonation, especially in a forced induction setup. The crown is fully machined, and the pistons feature forced pin oiling for added lubrication to the wrist pin.

This kit includes a set of four pistons, each with an 83.50 mm bore and a 29.77 mm compression height, along with a 0.787 inch pin diameter. These are designed for heavy to severe duty race builds, so if you're pushing the limits of your engine, these pistons are a solid choice.
