This Wiseco piston set includes four forged pistons, designed for your 1993-1999 Volkswagen Jetta or Golf with the 2.0L 20V ABA engine. These pistons feature an 83mm bore and a -19.4cc dish, resulting in a compression ratio of 8.0:1. They are built from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its improved tensile strength, making them suitable for heavy to severe duty performance applications.
Wiseco has packed these pistons with features to handle demanding builds. You'll find precision ring grooves, anti-detonation grooves, and additional features designed to improve ring seal. The fully machined crown ensures accuracy, and forced pin oiling helps keep the wrist pins lubricated.
