Wolo The Deputy Electronic Siren, P.A. System & Radio Rebroadcast

Wolo designed The Deputy as a full-feature 100-watt electronic siren and PA system for emergency and service vehicles that need reliable audio in the field. Model 4100 runs on 12 volts and packs siren, public address, and radio rebroadcast functions into one controller unit.

A rotary control selects between three siren sounds: Wail at 20 cycles per minute, Yelp at 180 cycles per minute, and Hi-Lo. A manual override button adds two more options on demand, producing an air horn sound or a fast yelp when pressed and held. The PA system uses a noise-canceling microphone permanently mounted to the controller, which eliminates feedback and squeal during voice amplification. Press the mic's talk button and it overrides whatever siren tone is running, so you get PA on demand without fumbling for switches.

Radio rebroadcast is wired into your vehicle's existing radio, letting you push audio through the external speaker. The controller measures 6 by 7.5 by 2.5 inches with an all-metal black enamel case. Maximum current draw is 7 amps at full volume. The 6-foot power harness includes an inline fuse holder. Note that the speaker is sold separately; Wolo recommends their Model 4002, 4003, or 4005.
