Yukon 07-17 Jeep Wrangler Ball Joint Kit - One Side

If you're working on the front end of your 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler, especially if you're dealing with worn-out ball joints, this kit from Yukon Gear & Axle is a solid option. It replaces both the upper and lower ball joints on one side of your front axle, giving you a chance to upgrade to something built for tougher use than stock.

Yukon uses some strong materials here. The housing is machined from SAE 1045 carbon alloy steel, and the ball stud is made from induction heat-treated, hot-forged 4140 chromoly steel. For the bearings, the upper joint uses carbon steel, while the lower joint gets military-grade acetal bearings known for their low friction and stability. These ball joints also feature a two-stage boot design with a synthetic Neoprene/CR outer boot and an inner seal to keep out dirt, oil, and other fluids. The kit comes complete with Grade 8 hardware, castle nuts, cotter pins, and zerk fittings for easy greasing.

It's worth noting that you might experience a bit of 'memory steer' for the first 300 to 500 miles as the new joints break in. This is normal for these types of upgraded components. The kit is designed to fit Dana 30 and Dana 44 front differentials.
