This package gets you two Yukon Chrome Moly Super Joints, along with eight full-circle snap rings. These aren't your average U-joints; they're built for serious off-road abuse, offering a significant upgrade in strength over factory parts. They're designed to handle the kind of stress that comes with extreme trail use, making them a solid choice for dedicated off-road vehicles.

What sets these Super Joints apart is their unique design. Instead of traditional needle bearings, they use a larger, beefier trunnion. This design eliminates the needle bearings, which allows for a considerably stronger trunnion circumference. The cross is made from tough 4340 chromoly, and the caps are crafted from 4140 steel. This setup isolates wear to the caps, which are more convenient and less expensive to replace than the entire cross. Each trunnion also features a built-in reservoir for grease, meaning you'll need to keep them well-lubricated.

Because they require more frequent greasing than sealed, lifetime-lubricated joints, Yukon Gear doesn't recommend these for daily driven vehicles. They are best suited for dedicated off-road rigs where maximum strength and durability in extreme conditions are the top priorities.
