Yukon Gear Dana 44 Chromoly Axle Kit Replacement

Yukon Gear & Axle is known for building strong drivetrain components. This front axle kit is designed for your 1976-1979 Ford F-150, replacing the inner and outer axle shafts for the Dana 44 differential. If you're rebuilding the front end or upgrading to handle more stress, this kit has what you need to get both sides of the axle back in service.

This kit is constructed from heavy-duty 4340 chromoly steel, which offers a good balance of strength and toughness. The splines are cold-rolled, a method that helps improve their durability compared to cut splines. Yukon also uses advanced heat-treating techniques to ensure the axles can withstand the demands of regular use. It includes both the left-hand (LH) and right-hand (RH) inner axle shafts, along with the corresponding outer shafts, and comes complete with Spicer U-joints ready for installation.

You'll receive two 19-spline, 9.72-inch outer axle shafts and one 30-spline, 18.91-inch LH inner shaft, plus a 30-spline, 33.19-inch RH inner shaft. This kit is specifically for Dana 44 differentials and includes 1310/760X Series U-joints, often referred to as 297X U-joints.
