This Yukon mini spool is made from high-quality materials for strength and long life in performance applications. It installs into a standard open carrier case and locks both rear wheels together, sending 100% of the power to both tires at all times. This setup is ideal for off-road use where consistent traction is critical, such as on vehicles like the Ford Bronco, F-150, or Mustang from the 1960s and 70s.
Because it locks the rear wheels together permanently, this mini spool is not recommended for street-driven vehicles. For those applications, a full spool or a limited-slip differential might be a better choice. This particular unit is designed for Ford 9-inch rears with 28-spline axles.
