Starting with a 4340 chromoly cross and 4140 steel caps, the Yukon Gear Super Joint is built for serious off-road abuse. This design eliminates traditional needle bearings, allowing for a larger, stronger trunnion. Each trunnion also includes a reservoir for grease, making maintenance straightforward, though it does require more frequent attention than sealed, lifetime-lubricated joints.
