When your cooling system is running hotter than you would like — whether you are towing, sitting in traffic, or pushing hard on a track day — Red Line Water Wetter can help bring those temperatures down. This 12 oz. bottle treats most passenger car and light truck cooling systems (3 to 5 gallons) and works alongside your existing antifreeze.

Water Wetter is a surfactant that doubles the wetting ability of your coolant, meaning the liquid makes better contact with metal surfaces inside the radiator and engine. This improved contact helps transfer heat more efficiently and reduces the air bubbles that can form on hot metal surfaces and act as insulation. Red Line states it can lower coolant temperatures by as much as 20 degrees Fahrenheit. The formula also includes corrosion inhibitors that protect aluminum, cast iron, copper, brass, and bronze components, and it lubricates water pump seals to reduce cavitation.

It is compatible with all antifreeze types, including DEX-COOL and long-life formulas, as well as straight water setups common in racing applications. One bottle handles most systems, though larger cooling systems may need two.
