PlastX uses Meguiar's Microscopic Diminishing Abrasive Technology, which starts with a slightly coarser cut to remove oxidation and surface contamination, then breaks down into finer particles as you work the product. The result is a progressively smoother finish without the risk of creating new scratches. The formula also leaves behind water-resistant polymers that help protect the restored surface from re-hazing. It contains no harsh solvents, so it is safe for both rigid and flexible clear plastics.

The included foam pad gives you a consistent application surface, and the microfiber cloth handles the final buff-out. Headlight lenses are the most common use, but this kit works equally well on instrument clusters, convertible rear windows, face shields, and clear plastic taillights. For lenses with only light to moderate haze, PlastX alone can bring back the clarity you need — heavier oxidation may call for wet sanding first, with PlastX as the finishing step.
