ATS Diesel makes this LCT1000 Stage 2 transmission package for 2006-07 GM 2wd trucks with the 8.1L gas engine. This is a complete transmission assembly designed to handle more power and last longer than the stock unit. If you're towing heavy or running a modified engine, this package is built to keep up.
This Stage 2 package includes a fully remanufactured LCT1000 6-speed automatic transmission. It features updated internal components and a performance torque converter to better manage the output of the 8.1L V8. The transmission is also equipped with an ATS Diesel Co-Pilot, which is an electronic controller that helps manage line pressure and torque converter clutch engagement for smoother shifts and better durability under load.
