Do these brackets require drilling?

These brackets clamp to the horizontal tube assembly, so drilling is not required. However, if you want a more permanent mount, you can drill and bolt them directly to the face of the uprights.

What size light bar will these brackets hold?

The brackets place the light bar base even with the tops of the upright posts. The holes are punched in L Brackets, but may require drilling to fasten certain light bars.
