Banks puts their designs through a rigorous testing process, starting with CAD simulations and flowbench validation, then moving to dyno and on-vehicle testing. This ensures the Ram-Air intake outflows stock systems by up to 57 percent. The enclosed housing keeps hot underhood air away from the filter, and the large, oiled filter element captures more air and requires fewer cleanings. A unique feature of this system is the bellows, which allow for engine movement without damaging the intake components, contributing to a longer service life.
This system is designed to work with your truck's existing setup and shouldn't cause fault or error codes. For even more cold air, an optional Super-Scoop is available to ram additional air into the box. This intake comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
