Product Details
Banks Power makes this Monster-Ram intake system for 2007.5-2012 Ram Cab Chassis 6.7L Diesel trucks. This system replaces restrictive factory airflow components to improve throttle response and fuel economy. It also removes the factory grid heater, which can prevent severe engine damage.
The Monster-Ram intake elbow is designed using computational fluid-dynamics and tested on the bench and dyno. It improves airflow from the intercooler, flowing 72.7 lbs/min MAF compared to the stock 38.6 lbs/min MAF. This updated airflow allows the engine to produce more power efficiently. The kit includes a new fuel line to accommodate the redesigned intake elbow, which is a direct-replacement aluminum casting. It also features four 1/8” NPT ports for adding sensors.
