Does this intake fit my diesel truck?

No, this Banks Ram-Air intake is designed specifically for gasoline engines. It will not fit Chevrolet or GMC 2500 or 3500 Diesel pickup trucks.

What kind of filter element does it use?

This Ram-Air intake system is available with either an oiled or a dry air filter element. You can choose the type that best suits your maintenance preference.

What if my stock intake has a sensor?

If your original intake housing contains an electronic pressure sensor, you'll need to remove it from the OEM housing. The sensor should be left plugged into its original harness and zip tied out of the way. This sensor is no longer accurate with the higher-flowing Banks Ram-Air Intake.
