Banks Power makes this Ram-Air Intake System for 2011-2012 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks with the 6.7L Cummins engine. This system replaces your stock air intake to help your engine breathe better, especially when you're working the truck hard. It keeps hot engine air out and lets in cooler, denser air for improved power and fuel economy.
The Ram-Air system uses an enclosed housing to block heat from the engine bay. It's designed to flow 50% better than the stock setup, which helps reduce exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs) and sooty exhaust. The intake also includes 4-1/2 inch bellows that flex to accommodate engine movement, protecting the components and extending their service life.
