Product Details
5-inch constant-diameter tubing with a massive tip virtually eliminates backpressure after the DPF. Compared to the stock 4-inch exhaust, this Banks Power Monster Exhaust system offers a 60% greater flow area. This improved flow cuts backpressure, which can lead to more horsepower and better fuel economy. This is the Banks Power 49778-B system for 2013-2018 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks with the 6.7L Cummins engine, Mega Cab and Short Bed configuration.
The tubing is made from 409 stainless steel and is mandrel-bent to maintain its diameter through the bends. The included tip is a large 6.5-inch x 7.5-inch ob-round shape with a slash cut and a high-temperature Cerakote matte black finish. Unlike some chrome tips that can turn brown from heat, Banks states their chrome-plated stainless tips will not discolor.
