It replaces the stock airbox and filter with a high-flow setup designed to get more cold air into your 2.0L turbo engine, giving you a noticeable boost in power and a more aggressive engine sound.
This system uses a large, dry conical filter inside a sealed airbox made from temperature-resistant Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE). This material helps keep engine heat out, which is crucial because denser, cooler air makes more power. The smooth, tapered intake duct and large filter surface area are designed to move more air than the stock setup, even as the filter gets dirty.
