You get a 5-inch DPF-back exhaust system and a large exhaust tip in this Banks Power Monster Sport Exhaust System. This system is built for 2020-2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 HD trucks with the 6.6L Duramax L5P engine. It's designed to reduce exhaust backpressure and lower exhaust gas temperatures, especially during regeneration cycles, which can help prevent trailer damage.
The system uses constant-diameter, mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tubing for smooth flow. The massive, patented tip is angled to the side, allowing ambient air to cool the exhaust gases before they reach your trailer. This setup offers a significant improvement in flow area compared to the stock exhaust.
