Product Details
This BBK phenolic intake manifold spacer kit is a solid way to get a little more out of your 5.0L Mustang, especially if you're running a GT40 or Cobra intake. It's CNC machined from 3/8 inch thick phenolic material. The main job here is to reduce the amount of heat that transfers from the hot engine block and lower intake manifold up into your upper intake and throttle body. Cooler air is denser air, and denser air means more power. You might also find this spacer helps you clear taller aftermarket valve covers, which is a common need when you've upgraded other engine components.
This kit comes with the necessary gaskets and hardware to get it installed. Just remember, it's not CARB approved, so it can't be shipped to California.
