BD Diesel 05-07 Dodge 48RE 4WD w/ TVV Transmission & Converter Package

This package includes a heavily modified valve body with increased line pressure up to 200psi and a modified manual valve for improved lubrication in all gear positions, helping to prevent shuttle shifting issues. The transmission features a billet input shaft and a billet fine spline input shaft to withstand the shock of rapid throttle changes and high horsepower. Inside, you'll find roller Torrington bearings replacing stock thrust bushings, a high-temperature Raybestos band, and a billet band lever and strut for added strength. The BD rigid aluminum heavy-duty transmission pan adds 2 quarts of extra oil capacity and features heat-dissipating fins to keep temperatures down, along with a magnetic drain plug. An auxiliary full-flow filter kit and cooler line case saver are also included for maximum drivetrain protection.

The included torque converter is engineered for enhanced stall, making it ideal for street and towing applications. It features a stamped, forged 1-piece cover that resists warpage from clutch heat and a taller cover that allows for more rebuilds. The trapezoid tooth design with tighter tolerances increases contact and reduces wear and chatter, while thrust bearings replace plastic washers for improved durability. The torque converter's cast stator design maximizes torque, and new sprag components ensure long-term reliability. Every transmission and converter set is dyno tested together to ensure matched performance and reliability before it leaves BD Diesel. This package comes with a 36-month/150,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month/24,000-mile labor warranty.
