This BD Diesel Roadmaster package is built to address those issues head-on, giving your 4WD truck a completely rebuilt 48RE transmission and a high-performance ProForce torque converter. It’s designed to handle more power and heat than the stock unit, making it a solid choice for towing, hauling, or just getting more out of your diesel.

BD Diesel has modified the valve body with improved shift quality and extended transmission life in mind. You'll find an upgraded governor pressure solenoid and a pressure transducer kit that boasts twice the burst pressure of the original. This transmission also features a deep sump oil pan, which increases fluid capacity and helps keep temperatures down, especially during demanding use. The included ProForce torque converter is furnace-brazed for strength and has torque-multiplying stators, offering better response off the line and for towing applications. It's built with a billet-forged front cover and a billet band strut for added durability.

This package is a comprehensive solution for upgrading your truck's drivetrain. It includes the transmission, the torque converter, a deep sump pan with a magnetic drain plug, and a cooler line case saver. Every transmission is tested on a dynamometer before it leaves BD Diesel's facility to ensure it meets their standards for increased line pressure, up to 200 psi, and smooth operation without shuttle shifting problems.
