When you're pushing your 2019-2024 Ram 2500 with a 68RFE transmission, especially with a diesel engine, you need a drivetrain that can handle the power. This BD Diesel TowMaster Transmission & Converter Package is built to stand up to those demands, whether you're towing heavy loads, cruising the street, or hitting the track. It's a matched set, meaning the transmission and the ProForce torque converter have been dyno-tested together to ensure they work in harmony for optimal performance and reliability.

BD Diesel has beefed up this transmission significantly. They've increased clutch counts in key areas like the Over Drive and 2C clutches by 33%, using durable QT100 pressure plates and a steel girdle on the 2C piston to handle more clutches and broader apply areas. The billet forged front cover is stronger with thicker walls and reinforced mounting pads. Inside, you'll find a hard-anodized valve body with a new solenoid pack, and the furnace brazed turbine fins on the converter improve fluid coupling efficiency. This package also includes a deep sump oil pan, which not only adds extra fluid capacity for better cooling but also helps reduce case flex. For 2019 and newer applications, special tuning is required for increased line pressure, and while a line pressure controller isn't included, the custom bonded gasket valve body separator plate is designed to increase line pressure while preventing internal cross leaks.

This package is designed as a direct replacement for your stock transmission and torque converter, offering improved stall characteristics for better low-RPM response compared to stock, making it great for street use and towing.
