It includes a fully rebuilt and upgraded 48RE transmission, a matched torque converter, a heavy-duty aluminum pan, and an auxiliary full-flow filter kit for added protection.

Inside the transmission, you'll find significant upgrades over stock. The valve body is enhanced with an upgraded governor pressure transducer that doubles burst pressure and increased line pressure to 190-200 psi, eliminating shuttle shifting issues. Stock thrust bushings are replaced with roller Torrington bearings for improved durability, and the clutch packs have been increased in count for both direct and overdrive applications. A high-temperature Raybestos band, billet band lever, and billet band strut add strength. The standout feature is the billet 'Big' fine spline input shaft, designed to handle the 'snap' from rapid throttle changes and high horsepower, preventing breakage.

The included torque converter is built for street and towing applications, featuring torque-multiplying cast aluminum stators for better low-RPM response and more efficient operation, leading to less heat and improved fuel economy. It also has a stamp-forged steel front cover and furnace-brazed fins for durability. The BD Diesel heavy-duty aluminum transmission pan adds 2 quarts of extra fluid capacity and features heat-dissipating fins to keep temperatures down, along with a magnetic drain plug.
