The BD Diesel TorqLoc is designed to give you control over your torque converter's lock-up clutch, helping to prevent that heat buildup and ensure your exhaust brake works as effectively as possible. This unit fits a wide range of Ford, Dodge, and Chevrolet trucks, including models like the 1994-2000 Chevy C/K 2500/3500, 1994-2005 Dodge Ram 2500/3500, and 1988-2003 Ford F-250/F-350.

You get a three-position toggle switch that offers a lot of flexibility. Position one lets you manually lock the torque converter, which is great for highway driving under light loads where you want to keep transmission temperatures down and get the full benefit of your exhaust brake. Position two simply reverts to the stock operation, or you can wire it to unlock the converter. The third position is an 'AutoLoc' mode, which automatically engages the lock-up clutch only when the exhaust brake is active – this is a solid setting for everyday driving in most conditions. There's also an option to prevent the transmission from shifting into overdrive, which can be helpful for city driving.
