BD Diesel Transmission - 07.5 - 18 Dodge 68RFE 2WD

BD Diesel has been a leader in performance diesel parts since 1989, starting with the first exhaust brake for diesel trucks. They've built a reputation for designing and manufacturing robust components for demanding diesel applications. This Stage 4 transmission, the BD TowMaster, is built specifically to overcome the common weaknesses found in the stock 68RFE transmission used in your 2007.5-2018 Dodge or Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks.

BD has engineered this transmission to handle significantly more power and torque than the factory unit. They've addressed the frequent issue of burnt overdrive clutches by incorporating custom billet QT100 reaction plates, a longer 'Big Stack' overdrive shaft, and increasing the number of friction surfaces. This setup allows for up to 250 psi of line pressure, giving it a strong torque holding capacity. The transmission also features a BD ProTech68 pressure control module that intelligently adjusts line pressure based on engine load, a custom bonded valve body separator plate to prevent internal leaks, and a deep sump pan for increased fluid capacity and cooling. A steel girdle is added to the 2C piston for broader apply area and more clutch capacity.

This complete transmission assembly includes a new solenoid pack and a hard-anodized valve body. It also features a heavy-duty cam and roller design for the low reverse one-way clutch. Note that using a third-party or OE converter will void the transmission warranty. BD Diesel backs this transmission with a 36-month or 150,000-mile limited warranty.
