BD Diesel is known for building tough drivetrain components, and this Stage 4 transmission for your 2003-2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty is no exception. This unit is designed to significantly increase the durability of your drivetrain and handle substantially more abuse.

This transmission features a fully rollerized geartrain and upgraded internals like stronger planetaries, upgraded sprags, and Sure-loc snap rings. You'll find a notable increase in clutch material, with counts like 6 clutches in the direct and low reverse applications, and 5 in the intermediate and overdrive. These tighter clutch packs, combined with updated boost valves and revised oil circuits, help provide quicker shifts and improved internal lubrication. BD also includes a heavy-duty aluminum pan that adds 6 quarts of oil capacity, reduces case flex, and helps keep temperatures down with its heat-dissipating fins. It also comes with a magnetic drain plug to catch any stray metal particles.

To ensure reliability under higher loads, this transmission includes a heavy-duty snap ring and blow-off valve to prevent runaway pressure from damaging the case. The valve body also sees an upgrade, with plastic pressure plugs replaced by aluminum ones. This transmission is dyno tested before it leaves BD Diesel, so you know it's ready to go. It also comes equipped with a Power Take Off (PTO) unit for specialized applications.
