If you're looking to significantly increase the capability of your 2004.5-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD or 3500, or GMC Sierra 2500 HD or 3500 equipped with the LLY Duramax engine and Allison 1000 transmission, this BD Diesel Stage 4 transmission is built to handle the extra demands. The stock transmission is designed for the factory engine output, but when you start adding power or towing heavier loads, it can quickly reach its limits. This BD Diesel unit is engineered to provide a substantial increase in durability and performance, allowing your drivetrain to keep up with your truck's potential.

This transmission features revised oil circuits and stronger internal components, including extra clutches and modified power pistons. With a 20% increase in friction surface thanks to high-energy GPZ clutch material and added frictions, it's built to handle up to 300% more power and torque than the original unit. The updated A&B trim valves ensure full line pressure to the clutches, and a new converter lock-up valve boosts lock-up pressures for more secure engagement. You'll also notice shorter, crisper shifts thanks to a modified separator plate.

Included with every transmission is BD Diesel's rigid aluminum heavy-duty transmission pan. This pan not only reduces case flex but also adds 3.5 quarts of extra oil capacity, which helps keep temperatures down, especially during demanding use. The pan's heat-dissipating fins and magnetic drain plug are practical additions for monitoring and maintaining your transmission's health. Each transmission is dyno-tested before it leaves BD Diesel, ensuring it meets their standards for performance and reliability.
