BD Diesel Transmission - 2005-2007 Ford 5R110 2wd

If you're working on a 2005-2007 Ford E-350 Super Duty, F-250 Super Duty, or F-350 Super Duty and need a transmission that can handle more than the original equipment, this BD Diesel Stage 4 transmission is built for the job. The stock transmission is designed for stock power levels, but this unit is significantly upgraded to increase the durability of your drivetrain, especially when you're pushing more power or towing heavy loads.

This transmission features a fully rollerized geartrain and tighter clutch packs for quicker shifts. It includes 30%-40% more clutch material with additional steels across several clutch sets, like the Direct clutch with 6 clutches and the Low Reverse clutch with 6 clutches, which is a notable increase over stock. Several key components have been machined, including the direct piston, direct pressure plate, intermediate pressure plate, overdrive piston, and overdrive pressure plate, to ensure precise operation. BD Diesel has also improved internal lubrication with high-power boost valves and added lube circuits, along with a reworked front pump and updated bearing designs, to keep everything running smoothly under stress. The heavy-duty snap ring and blow-off valve are there to prevent runaway pressure from damaging the case, and plastic pressure plugs in the valve body are replaced with aluminum ones for better reliability. This transmission is dyno tested and supports up to 300% more power and torque than the stock unit.

Included with this transmission is BD Diesel's rigid aluminum heavy-duty transmission pan. This pan adds 6 quarts of extra oil capacity, which helps reduce internal oil leakage and keeps temperatures down thanks to its heat-dissipating fins. It also helps reduce case flex. A magnetic drain plug is also part of the pan to help catch any metal particles. This transmission comes with a 36-month/150,000-mile limited warranty, and it's important to note that race abuse is not covered.
