The stock transmission in your 1995-1997 Ford E4OD is built for everyday driving, but it can struggle when you start pushing your truck harder, especially with increased loads or engine modifications. This BD Diesel Stage 4 TowMaster transmission is designed to significantly increase your drivetrain's durability. It's engineered to handle up to 300% more power and torque than the original unit, making it a solid choice for towing, hauling, or if you've upgraded your engine's output.

BD Diesel has reinforced this transmission with a number of key upgrades. You'll find 30%-40% more clutch material, with tighter clutch packs for quicker shifts and improved engagement. They've also added extra lube and support to the output and intermediate shafts, and created a dedicated lube circuit for towing in overdrive. The geartrain is fully rollerized, and aluminum planetaries have been replaced with steel for added strength. The kit includes BD's rigid aluminum heavy-duty transmission pan, which features heat-dissipating fins and adds 6 quarts of extra oil capacity, helping to keep temperatures down and reduce internal oil leakage. This transmission also comes with an auxiliary frame-mounted full-flow filter kit to further protect your investment.

Each transmission is dyno tested before it leaves BD Diesel to ensure it meets their standards. While this transmission is built for heavy-duty use, it is not warranted for race or sled pull applications.
